For those who are wondering, I believe they are using a tubular bandage (sometimes called tubinet dressing) with an applicator. I came to the comments to see if there was any mention of whether they used a smaller size of tubular bandage or if it’s kind of all the same size, but no luck. I’m doing research myself but so far, that’s what I’ve seen the dressing and applicator called.

Went to my GP and they just sent me for an x-ray, with no mention or advice about splinting. Had to source my own splints online. A week later I'm still waiting for x-ray results.

Way too complicated. Throw that thing away! The ONLY traction splint you need is the Slishman Gen 2 Traction Splint. You could have put the Slishman Gen 2 Traction Splint on and taken it off 5 times in the time it took to put this 18th century device on!

How do you transport the patient with that huge extension sticking off the gurney? The Slishman Gen 2 Traction Device has noting sticking off the end of the gurney making transport much simpler. Check out the Slishman Gen 2 Traction Device.

Great video! I injured the tipof the left small finger a week ago. Unfortunatelly the splint I got coveres the whole finger , which I don't find appropriate. So thanks - I'll insist on a shorter one in order to be able to bend the middle joint

“It’s not the bandage’s fault but rather the poor usage of it is to blame,” chief surgeon Deng Wei told CEN. “If bandages must be used, we must remember to keep the end of the finger showing, so we can see that the finger is still a normal color.”

Yue Tue, 4, of Suzhou City in east China’s Jiangsu Province, was playing when she bit her finger and it began bleeding. Her grandmother, Feng Cheng, 60, secured a bandage with an elastic band around Tue’s finger to try to suppress the blood. Two days later, Tue’s finger became swollen and turned black. “[My granddaughter] said it didn’t hurt anymore and she couldn’t feel anything in her finger,” Cheng told CEN. “I realized something wasn’t right so immediately took her to hospital.” Doctors’ examination found that the blood vessels had been so badly damaged that the only way to stop the dead tissue from spreading was to cut the finger off. 🤮🥺🥺🤮🤮🤧

so they only recognize hospital-based theres no such thing on the outside (outpatient) and theres a difference between medical confusion and life confusion or existential crisis or life dysphoria also you may have a something like delirium but thet dont recognize it between 20 and 50 as its called agitation and theres no protocol/pathway for it. they usually just give low dose olanzapine unless ur physically hysterical. and on top of that a hormonal disorder. you wont find a provider that will assess medical-psychchiatric as the endo doesnt address the mind and psych the hormones. could try an internist or a physiatrist.

I did not get proper care on my diagnosed mallet finger. In this area that I live, there is no educated healthcare even if they are orthopedic surgeons. I went to three different doctors and didn’t get proper care about what to do and why to do it. I ended up treating myself with this video. I bought my own splints cheap from Temu. I trimmed them, taped them and switched them out. My custom splint made by a therapist is heavy 4mm plastic and to me it’s ridiculous. I wear it at night. I became the expert. If you need advice I can help. I’ve been splinted at the distal with avulsion for 7 weeks.

It’s been 10 weeks today. My own custom splints only made me at 10% lag and the Dr said it won’t get 100% normal. With that splint there I wore a size 5. I snipped out the top so it didn’t touch my tender area on top. The top of my finger felt like a sharp splinter. It worked but it wasn’t comfortable for long. I used an aluminum splint a lot. I also used a Temu splint that I carved out and the Orthopedic Therapist said that would be fine. I’m still hurting some but that’s only if I do a lot of scrubbing, a lot of housework and some crafts…I rest it then. What a misery this has been for me. Good thing I’m retired because I couldn’t do my normal manufacturing type job. I worry about my poor finger. It hurts still and it’s troubling for me. It’s not stiff anymore. It moves up and down just fine but it’s lagged

In the west I think persons or beings have their specific numbers admit it or not, true or false, I dont care, but what if by pressing a particular number of a person in your modern monitor you can assess the cardiac electrical activity of a particular person whether with conduction problem arrhythmia or pathway problem such as LBBB or RBBB, assessing the heart structural events without placing any electrodes, pads or paddles but by wavelengths, frequencies alone and manipulating the heart conduction system of that person using particular energy fit for that persons category or by fixing the conduction pathway by elements manipulations using dust particles using the computer consoles, maybe in the future.
